The day after returning to the UK from France on the Dunkirk - Dover ferry, my wife realised that she had mislaid her handbag.
An email to the ferry company DFDS was sent, reporting that it may have been left on their boat.
After a few days, DFDS contacted us saying that the handbag had been found and it would be posted on to us.
It arrived the very next day - all credit cards and cash safe and secure.
Well done DFDS! it is refreshing to know that there are still honest folk around.

- Paul Vaughan’s interest in wireless and electronics began when he was eight and gained the qualification for a Radio Amateurs Licence when he was fourteen. After leaving college in 1963 he joined Texas Instruments as a semiconductor engineer and was involved when the first integrated circuits were made outside America. In 1965 he joined the Ministry of Aviation as a Telecommunications Technician maintaining navigational aids. During this time he obtained a UK Pilots Licence. In the late sixties having recently married Heide he became a field sales engineer with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors including Motorola and Solitron. In 1973 he set up his own distributor, which by 1979 had a turnover approaching £1 million, and employed over ten people. In 1980 Paul and his wife started a hobby electronics shop in Bedford just as the home Micro boom was getting started and became highly involved with Acorn and Tandon Computers. Mushroom Components started trading in 1993. Paul and Heide live in Northamptonshire and have three children and seven grandchildren.
